New video appears to show a crossing guard in Brooklyn calling a man by a homophobic slur.
The man who took the video, Allen, tells News 12 the incident happened Friday at the corner of Ocean Avenue and Albermale Road.
He says this is the fourth time in a week that the same guard has referred to him by the gay slur.
Allen says that even though he isn’t a member of the LGBTQ community, the comments still hurt because he is an ally and has two mothers.
He filed a complaint with 311, but has not heard back yet.
News 12 reached out to NYPD about the incident, and they tell News 12 the incident is under internal review.
