A vigil was held tonight for a Morrisania bodega worker, who was accidentally shot by police during an overnight armed robbery.
Officials say three suspects had 20-year-old Reynaldo Cuevas and his uncle at gunpoint in the store. They say Cuevas broke free and burst out the door, where an officer was positioned with his weapon drawn.
Authorities say the two became entangled and a shot was fired.
The victim's mother says, "her son was murdered."
