Dozens of residents took a walk through Fort Greene on Saturday to learn about the neighborhood's history.
Organizers say the walking tour starts at Fort Greene Park, where participants learn about its military past.
It then continues down the Myrtle Avenue business district and onto the Wallabout historic homes district.
Along the walk, participants are serenaded by a performer who sings songs from the various eras.
Organizers say it's a good way for locals to learn more about the area in which they live.
