Water returned to some people in Canarsie on Tuesday following an outage along Avenue N.
News 12 was told the outage stretched at least four blocks, but some neighbors say it was as many as nine.
They say the water was turned off Monday around 7 a.m. with little to no notice.
"They didn't give us like a heads up to fill up water and stuff like that. So, we just left with no water to bathe, no water to do anything," said Elsie Pierre, of Canarsie.
A Department of Environmental Protection spokesperson said there were no impacts to transportation.
