News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says parts of the New York City metro area will see rain change over to a wintry mix on Sunday.
OVERNIGHT: Cloudy and cold. Lows down to 36. Feels like 30 in the morning.
TOMORROW - WEATHER TO WATCH: Rain showers arrive by noon. Steadiest between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Highs near 41. Snow may mix in with rain showers after 10 p.m. There is uncertainty​ if another round of snow occurs early Monday a.m. that may cause a tricky morning commute. A bit of minor slush possible for the Bronx, just wet for Brooklyn as of now. Lows down to 33.
MONDAY - WEATHER TO WATCH AM: Lingering rain/snow showers through 7 a.m., otherwise clearing sky but cold. Highs near 39. Lows down to 28.
TUESDAY - WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy and trending colder. Highs in the upper-30s. Lows around 25.
THURSDAY - FRIDAY - WEATHER TO WATCH: A lot​ of uncertainty regarding a potential coastal storm, but there is a growing chance of snow/rain beginning Thursday p.m. through Friday. How much snow versus rain and if its a glancing blow or direct hit are still to be determined. Highs in the mid-to-upper-30s, lows around 32.
