Approximately 200 people have been displaced from their apartment building on order from the Department of Buildings (DOB) and FDNY because the building doesn't have fire escapes.
The apartment building, at 2400 Webb Ave., is undergoing renovations and the DOB says building management never acquired the proper requisites to remove the fire escapes.
A stop-work order has been placed on the building's management.
