Yankee Stadium will open as a new COVID-19 vaccine hub Friday.
Here’s what you should know:
- The vaccine hub is strictly for Bronx residents, according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
- Approximately 15,000 appointments are expected to be available at the stadium during the first week.
- Starting Friday, the stadium will be operating from 8 a.m. through 8 p.m. These hours will be in place seven days a week.
- You MUST meet the city’s 1A and 1B vaccine eligibility requirements.
- The stadium specifies that vaccinations are by appointment ONLY.
- Residents are asked to bring proof of residency.
