A stickball documentary called "When Broomsticks Were King" has scored a distribution deal with Brooklyn On Demand.
The pay-per-view site is the first on demand video platform for the Brooklyn independent film scene.
The award-winning documentary pays homage to the game many Brooklyn natives played in the streets of the borough.
Jason Cusato is the director, writer, producer and editor of the film.
The Brooklyn-born and raised independent filmmaker says he wanted the documentary to highlight Brooklyn stickball and the heroes who played the game.
