Could a few snowflakes mix in with rain tomorrow in the Hudson Valley? We are tracking the next storm and have everything you need to know.
WHAT TO KNOW
  • Windy and very cold this morning. Feels like teens and 20s
  • Sunny today
  • Monday is messy. Rain is expected for much of the day
Grab the winter jacket, it's very cold this morning! Temperatures are below freezing and with gusty breezes over 20 mph, it feels like teens and 20s most of the morning. Sunny skies and lighter wind are expected this afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
Messy Monday
Light rain showers are expected most of the day on Monday. Although heavy rain is not expected, the rain will be steady for the entire morning commute with lingering showers through the evening so expect traffic slowdowns for the morning commute and slowdowns possible for the evening commute too. It will be breezy with wind gusts up to 25 mph.
Tuesday is pleasant with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the mid 50s.
Clouds build again on Wednesday with a slight chance for rain showers. If precipitation arrives early enough in the day a few snowflakes could mix in, but precipitation will be light with little to no impacts to life.
The end of the work week looks pleasant. High temperatures are in the 50s with a mix of sun and clouds.
Next weekend
There is less forecast confidence than usual for next weekend. While some model guidance has mild air in place, others have quite significant cold. Expect changes to the forecast beyond Friday and check back for more information as we get closer.
