A 29-year-old woman is behind bars after police say she stabbed her roommate to death in Flatbush.

A 29-year-old woman is behind bars after police say she stabbed her roommate to death in Flatbush.
Police say they responded to a 911 call on Friday at 11:53 p.m. for an assault call at 557 East 21st St. When police arrived, they found and treated a 29-year-old woman suffering a laceration to her right hand. She was transferred to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County and is in stable condition.
According to police, Freddy Quevedo, 73 of Brooklyn, suffered multiple stab wounds to his back and was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced dead.
Police arrested 29-year-old Paola Jinenez in connection to the incident. She has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
