Police say four people are involved in the shooting of a 38-year-old woman in the Mott Haven section of the Bronx.
The incident happened on Feb. 10, just after 4 p.m. in the vicinity of 383 E. 143 St.
Exclusive video shows a group of four people - three boys and one girl - walking together when they suddenly split up into two groups.
That's when police say one of the men took a firearm out of the girl's bag and that's when all three men start firing.
Multiple rounds of shots went off at a group of people, and the 38-year-old victim was struck.
Police say the victim sustained serious injuries from the shooting but is expected to recover.
Sam, who works at a school just a block away, says although she should feel shocked, this type of violence is normal.
"This is not an uncommon occurrence and it's devastating that these kids, this is their life. This is what they're surrounded by," said Sam.
Police are looking for a female wearing all black, a man wearing all black and gray sneakers, a man wearing all black and another man wearing all black with a blue backpack.
The four suspects fled the location on foot traveling down 143rd Street.
