As News 12 celebrates Women’s History Month, one opera singer is checking performing at her dream venue off of her bucket list.
Linda Collazo, who has been writing songs and playing the piano since she was a child, will be performing at Carnegie Hall this Saturday.
She started singing opera at 13 years old, which she has brought to stages across the United States and the world. The Latina opera singer is proud to be performing solo in the Stern auditorium as a part of the hall’s Harmonic Convergence Concert.
“This is what I’ve been working towards my whole life,” said Collazo.
