A new study claims that working from home is more stressful than working in an office.
Researchers from Penn State University found that people have significantly less of the stress hormone Cortisol in their saliva when they are in an office work environment than when working from home.
One theory is that people in an office are often focused on one task that they need to complete, which gives them a sense of satisfaction.
News 12 Brooklyn spoke with residents who had mixed reviews of the study.
Some thought that physically being in the work environment could be less stressful because of the opportunity to socialize with co-workers, while others thought that being able to make your own schedule from home would relieve more stress.
