Concerned residents who live near Rosewood Playground are renewing their calls for lights at the location.
In December 2006, a dead body was found dumped in the park. Residents feared the park, which sits between the Bronx River Parkway and Bronx Park East, was a breeding ground for crime.
Residents say the park is so dark, it?s difficult to see anything. ?You can?t see anything. Nothing at all?so anything can be lurking in there,? resident Angela Ramsay said.
Resident John Morales said it's time for different government agencies to stop blaming each other for the inaction, and to get something done.
A spokesperson from the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation said she would have someone look into the Rosewood Playground lights.
