The wonderful weather we had on Thursday now begins to transition to a cloudier situation for tonight. Nighttime lows are raw but above average for this time of year. Winds are light, and that blanket of building clouds will insulate the region, keeping temperatures warmer than average.
Friday starts off overcast and mild. A weather system approaches from the Great Lakes, which allows for temperatures to rise into the 50s. This will also start to drag intermittent rain showers through the state after 4 p.m.
The second wave of weather will swing by on Saturday. This piece of wet weather energy not only brings the prospect of a good dousing of rain, but cooler weather will quickly follow behind the showers.
