Bushwick played host to an art fair and festival on Troutman Street Sunday.

The free event featured art installations, body painting, music and painting competitions.

The fair also helped to celebrate and teach neighbors about local artists.

One of the organizers, Ming Liu, says the goal of the event is to show people that art is important to celebrate and embrace.

Organizers tell News 12, they plan to do more of these types of art events.
