Donation drives are being held throughout Brooklyn for victims of recent natural disasters in the Caribbean and Mexico.
DJ Carlito, of radio station La Mega 97.9, posted a photo on Instagram Sunday of the first shipment of donations arriving in Puerto from Miami. And on Monday night, Carlito organized another drive at the No Bull bar and lounge in Bushwick, which resulted in two packed U-Haul trucks' worth of supplies that he says will be shipped by plane or boat to Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

Multiple Brooklyn firehouses and EMS stations are collecting specific donations daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Locations include Engine 271/Ladder 124 at 392 Himrod Street in Bushwick; Engine 277/Ladder 112 at 582 Knickerbocker Ave. in Bushwick; Engine 201/Ladder 114 at 5113 Fourth Ave. in Sunset Park; Engine 228 at 436 39th St. in Sunset Park; and Engine 218 at 650 Hart St. in Bushwick.
Mayor Bill de Blasio says those stations will only be taking diapers, baby food, batteries, first aid supplies and feminine hygiene products, which he says are critically needed in Puerto Rico.
