Police released a photo Thursday of a man wanted for questioning in the murder of Crown Heights mother Carol Simon.

The NYPD wants to speak with Darius Dubarry about the shooting. Police say Dubarry, 27, was at the scene on Saturday night when Simon was killed. The victim was shot in her torso as she walked along Eastern Parkway.

Her son has a message for her killer.

?Whoever killed my mom, I want them to come and give up themselves because I loved her and she was like a friend to me,? he said.

Simon?s family announced on Thursday the creation of a scholarship fund for the 9-year-old son she leaves behind.

Simon?s funeral will be held on Friday at Saint Theresa?s Church between Avenue D and Troy Avenue.
