A student and victim in the Sacred Heart University car crash that left five students and an Uber driver hospitalized is suing the driver at fault, the car's owner and the school.

A student driving an Audi crashed into a Toyota carrying four students and an Uber driver on Sept. 29, 2023.

All were hospitalized and released.

The driver at fault, Tyler Delk, is facing criminal charges, including DUI and reckless driving.

The victim is suing for $15,000, according to the lawsuit documents.

The lawsuit outlines several injuries sustained in the crash, including cognitive impairments, lacerations, and a partially collapsed lung.

The lawsuit also claims that Sacred Heart failed to monitor underage drinking.
