A fire tore through a liquor store in Sheepshead Bay late Tuesday night. Investigators are still working to figure out what caused it.

It happened around 11:10 p.m. at Bay Liquors and Wines, located at 2801 Knapp St. —right at the corner of Shore Parkway and Knapp Street.

FDNY says 12 units, around 60 firefighters and EMS crews showed up to the scene. They were able to get the flames under control in less than an hour—just before midnight.

Citizen video from overnight shows crews using ladders to get the fire under control.

By the time the smoke cleared, liquor bottles had spilled out onto the sidewalk. Crews had to pull many of them out of the way to put out hot spots. Firefighters also had to cut through the gate of a smoke shop next door, and break the doors and locks of the three other businesses in the plaza. Dunkin' says because of that, it will need to have a staff member keeping watch inside overnight, to make sure no one breaks in or steals anything.

FDNY says no one was hurt.
