Some residents are still living without power or other utilities. Others whose homes were filled with smoke are receiving assistance from the town and the American Red Cross.

Officials say residents in need of help can report to the Belleville Friendly House, located at 21 Frederick Street.

Roadways affected by the fire are reopening. Washington Avenue, also known as Route 7, has fully reopened to traffic.

Town officials say further updates are expected later today as cleanup and recovery efforts continue.
