A three-alarm fire tore through a commercial building Thursday night in Coney Island.
The fire began at around 8 p.m. on Stillwell Avenue.
All three stories of the building were completely consumed by the blaze. Chopper 12 was above the scene, where crews worked to contain the flames on the roof.
Witnesses say the fire started at a grocery store and quickly spread to a Turkish restaurant next door. The owner of the Bykush Cafe told News 12 Brooklyn that he had just opened his business two weeks ago and now everything is gone.
Investigators are searching for what sparked the blaze.
