Activists came together in Sunset Park on Sunday to rally for safer streets on an annual day of remembrance for road traffic victims.

The activists marched down Fifth Avenue, calling for drivers to slow down - and for everyone to watch where they are going.
The march was organized by a group called Get Women Cycling.
Some of the group were victims of traffic violence, and others were there to remember someone who was killed by a traffic crash.
Activists say it was also a good time to call for more safety on streets because it gets dark earlier now, making it harder to see.

World Day of Remembrance of Road Traffic Victims happens on the third Sunday of November.
