As with all other good things, the suspension of alternate-side parking rules in Park Slope is coming to an end.
The rules were suspended while the Department of Transportation swapped out old signs. Now, that project is complete, and alternate-side rules are making their return Monday.
But just as the good times end for residents in Park Slope, it is beginning in other communities. The DOT says it has started phase II of its sign project in Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, Carroll Gardens and Gowanus.
