Thousands of Jewish leaders from 80 countries are in Brooklyn to learn more on expanding their faith at an annual convention.
The International Conference of Chabad Lubavitch is being held all weekend at the Brooklyn Marriott. The event is an opportunity for rabbis to learn from one another.
Organizers say the turnout is encouraging because it means the impact of the Chabad Lubavitch movement is expanding globally. Brooklyn is where the organization is based.
The convention will cap off on Sunday with a banquet that organizers say is the largest sit-down dinner in New York City.
