The body of a man was discovered floating in water at Pier 5 in Brooklyn early Friday morning, according to police.
Police say a 911 call for a person in the water came in just before 8:30 a.m. between Pier 3 and Pier 5.
EMS pronounced the man dead on scene. NYPD and the Office of the Medical Examiner are investigating.
