The windier and colder feeling weather is moving back in, Long Island! It is happening overnight and will stick around for a couple of days. It will feel like the 20s to low 30s Thanksgiving morning.

Everything is still on track for a dry, but windy and colder feeling day. It will feel like the 30s at best in the afternoon.

It is still a close call, but we think the balloons will fly tomorrow. That said, there is a chance they could be flying a bit lower than usual due to wind gusts between 30 to 35 mph at times in NYC during the parade.

The threshold is usually 23 mph for sustained wind and 34 mph for wind gusts. The sustained wind is below the threshold for where major changes are usually made with this, but the gusts are close.

That is why, out of an abundance of caution, you may see some, if not all of the balloons flying a little closer to the ground.

Highs around 45 degrees. Wind: west 10 to 20 mph with some gusts around 30 to 35 mph. Lows near 31 degrees. Wind chills in the low to mid-20s into Friday morning.

FRIDAY: WINDY AND COLD — A mix of sun and clouds. Windy with some gusts between 30 and 45 mph. Cold with highs around 44 degrees and wind chills in the 20s and 30s. Lows near 30 degrees.

SATURDAY: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy. Highs around 43 degrees. Not as windy. Lows near 32 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with some rain showers possible late in the day. Highs around 53 degrees. Lows near 40 degrees.

MONDAY: Partly sunny to mostly cloudy. Highs around 52 degrees. Lows near 33 degrees.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with mixed rain and / or snow possible. Highs around 42 degrees. Lows near 32 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs around 43 degrees. Lows near 30 degrees.
