Broken elevator in Fordham building forces tenants to access apartments through the roof
Residents in a building at 2255 Grand Concourse Ave. in Fordham have been living with an inconsistent elevator in their building for almost a decade.

4h agoResidents in a building at 2255 Grand Concourse Ave. in Fordham have been living with an inconsistent elevator in their building for almost a decade.
Residents in that building, some of whom are seniors, are tired of having to take difficult routes through the building, such as having to cross the roof, to get to their apartments.
There are three other elevators that do work in the building, but the one in the "H" side of the building does not.
News 12 reached out to the building management for a statement but have yet to hear back.
News 12's Brittany Cadet was in Fordham to speak with some of the residents about the issues they face.
