Bronx-born crooner Jerry Vale has died at the age of 83. 
A family attorney says he passed away Sunday morning in his California home. 
The singer started performing in New York supper clubs as a teen and went on to record more than 50 albums with big hits in the 1950s and 60s. 
He also appeared as himself in the movies "Goodfellas" and "Casino," and the TV series "The Sopranos." 
Vale leaves behind his wife of 55 years and two children.
