Dr. Matthew Jones watched as his father, Dr. Romeo Jones an immigrant from Trinidad and Tobago, bonded with his patients. It is what inspired him to become a cardiologist.
Dr. Jones shared with News 12 how to keep our hearts healthy.
“The incremental effects of being dentary catch up to you,” explains Jones. “You may feel like superman or superwoman in your 20s and in your teens, but it’s really important just to maintain healthy habits.”
Jones says it is an honor to be a doctor serving his community.
