Brooklyn residents marked four years since Superstorm Sandy blasted the northeast, leaving a trail of destruction in its path.
News 12 Brooklyn was in Gerritsen Beach where residents say the storm is still fresh in their memories.
Neighbors on Celeste Court say cars were damaged and basements were destroyed in the wake of Sandy's floodwaters.
Residents say the storm taught them to be more vigilant against massive weather systems in the future.
