Brooklyn residents turn out for annual Red Hook Regatta

The third annual Red Hook Regatta took place Saturday.
Homemade boats veered across the Red Hook Channel for the sailing competition.
Those who participate in the event design and construct the boats used. One boat dubbed "Mom's Spaghetti," was built out of pasta.
They also provided the technology that is used to operate the boats.
People of all ages were encouraged to participate.
