A train struck and killed two people at the Broadway Junction Thursday evening, police say.
It happened at the Manhattan-bound C train platform.
According to investigators, one of them was a woman who died at the scene. A man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say they believe both of them were homeless and in their 30s.
The incident caused serious train delays around rush hour, and for a while trains that did travel on the line bypassed the station in both directions, according to the MTA.
