News 12 has obtained video that shows a child being hit by a bike while getting off a school bus on Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg.

Community members say the child was struck on Tuesday.

The video shows the child getting off the school bus with flashing lights and what appears to be the stop sign out.

As the child runs toward the sidewalk, the bike doesn't slow down and strikes the child in the bike lane.

The video also shows the biker sprawled out on the ground after the crash.

This isn't the first time a child has been struck on Bedford Avenue.

News 12 has previously reported on another child who was struck back in November.

Community members have brought up concerns about children's safety with the bike and are demanding change.

When News 12 previously reported on the bike lane on Bedford Avenue, the Department of Transportation said the project was still in its implementation phase, and the agency is working to complete the final touches.
