Chilly start to week for NYC; showers expected Tuesday night

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Hope Osemwenkhae says it will be another wet morning with cool temps in the 50s. Temperatures will drop to the 30s tonight into Monday morning.

News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Allan Nosoff says chilly temperatures will start off the new work week before a chance of showers arrives Tuesday night.
From the National Weather Service: There is a freeze watch for late Monday night and Tuesday morning for all five boroughs.
TONIGHT: Clear, cold, and breezy. Lows down to 35. Feels like 30.
TOMORROW: A cold start. Feels like 30 in the morning. Sunny and chilly. Highs near 47. Lows near 33.
TUESDAY - WEATHER TO WATCH PM: Coldest start of the season so far. Feels like 28-30. Otherwise, partly to mostly cloudy. Highs near 45. Lows near 42. Showers arrive after 6 p.m. Steady rain at times at night.
WEDNESDAY - WEATHER TO WATCH AM: Morning rain tapers to a lingering shower through noon. Otherwise cloudy and breezy. Highs near 48. Lows near 37. First flakes possible North and West of New York City.
LATE WEEK: Mostly sunny and chilly again. Highs in the mid-40s, lows in the mid-30s.
NEXT WEEKEND: More of the same, cold and sunny. Highs around 45. Lows near freezing.
