A New York City Hall spokesperson says 14 buses carrying migrants from Texas arrived on Wednesday, marking the highest number recorded by the arrival center.
The buses arrived at Port Authority after most of the migrants were on a flight headed to the city from Texas but it got diverted to Philadelphia due to weather, the spokesperson added.
News 12 was also told that 7,200 new arrivals have gone through the city's intake system in the last two weeks alone.
