City pools are now open for the summer season.

Brooklyn residents of all ages can be seen soaking up the sun and taking a dip in the pool at McCarren Park in Greenpoint. A line of anxious swimmers waited outside the park to get in before it opened this morning.

The city's pools will be open every day through Sept. 1, and there will be a break each day for cleaning from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
