The search is on for the gunman behind a double shooting on White Plains Road early this morning.
According to police, a man and a woman were both hit at around 2:45 a.m. near East 222nd Street. They say both victims were struck in the leg and taken to Jacobi Medical Center.
Authorities say they don't have any information on a motive or suspect, but have been searching the area around the crime scene.
