The Department of Sanitation on Thursday resumed regular garbage pickup in Brooklyn after services were temporarily suspended due to the major blizzard over last weekend.
The DSNY told residents to place their trash and recyclables at the curb according to the normal pickup scheduled.
Due to the backlog in material and ongoing snow operations, some delays in trash collection were expected.
Residents should ensure that their trash can be easily accessed and seen by collectors.
The DSNY asked that residents clear any lingering snow from their trash for an easier pickup.
