This week, subway riders spotted signs that looked like Metropolitan Transportation Authority service signs but were instead a message to the governor about congestion pricing.
Flyers were spotted across the city that read, "All transit improvements canceled. This station will not be made ADA-accessible because Gov. Kathy Hochul canceled congestion pricing." On them is a QR code for the website of Transportation Alternatives, an organization that's pro-congestion pricing.
News 12 reached out to the organization several times, but it didn't answer. An MTA spokesperson tells News 12 the posters aren't permitted in city transit systems and that workers will remove them.
