Fines will start being issued for drivers caught blocking three more bus lanes The Bronx.
The 60-day warning period is over for the lanes along the BX20, BX3 and BX7 bus routes - now equipped with camera enforcement.
Fines for blocking the lane will now range from $50 to $250 for repeat offenders.
A few months ago, News 12 was there along that route when a study came out about the BX20 being one of the slowest routes in The Bronx.
According to the MTA, since this camera enforcement started on average buses have seen a 5 percent increase in speed and a 20 percent reduction in collisions.
The MTA says 47 routes citywide are now equipped with camera enforcement with more than a dozen of them in The Bronx.
