? Many business owners along Flatbush Avenue say the new Atlantic Rail Yard project is forcing them to relocate.
Business owner Lystra Ebron says her shop has been open form more than a decade, but her landlord sold the property to developers. The developers are compensating businesses, but one owner says she only received $10,000, which amounts to 20 percent of her relocation costs.
The MTA sold the rail yard to Nets team owner and real estate developer Bruce Ratner last year. Ratner is building an arena for the basketball team and an office complex.
