A food pantry ordered to close for sanitary reasons stayed open for business Thursday.
The food pantry run out of the Highbridge Voices Building attracts mice and rats, according to officials. The director gave the pantry thirty days to move. Workers recently held a rally to stop the closure.
?We don?t know who to turn to,? said Magalina Ortiz, a food pantry worker.
The director changed some of the locks, but workers continued to give out food all day Thursday.
