The Fordham Prep boys recently hosted Stepinac on the hardwood as the Catholic League regular season comes to a close.
The matchup was tight from beginning to end. Toward the end, Stepinac's Tony Taylor went hard to the bucket to give his team a two-point lead. Fordham's Ryan Meara got the ball in the last few seconds, but he couldn't shake off Marques Bolding. Bolding blocked Meara's shot and Stepinac won 53-51.
Fordham was able to keep Bolding in check for most of the game. Bolding, who is one of the league's top players, scored just six points during the contest.
