Fort Greene?s Myrtle Avenue is getting a makeover, which business owners hope will revitalize the area.
An organization called Public Color is behind the bolder, brighter paint jobs at dreary storefronts. The New York City Department of Small Business Services provided a $15,000 grant to spruce up the street.
James Campbell, who owns a store on the avenue, says he feels the new paint will project a positive image.
