Frigid feel eases into Friday, even warmer into this weekend

It will be above freezing for the entire borough Friday afternoon. Not as windy but still breezy, making it feel colder. Saturday's chances of snow continue to dwindle.

Feels-like temperatures did not break out of the teens for a third straight day on Thursday, with one more frigid night expected into Friday morning. Lows will dip back to about 25 degrees, feeling like between 10 and 15 degrees, a notable improvement compared to the last few nights. Gusts between 30 and 40 mph will continue into the morning but go below 30 mph into Friday afternoon.
The lower wind and high temperatures will make it feel noticeably warmer Friday afternoon, despite feels-like temperatures into the upper-20s to around 30 degrees. Friday night will be a bit warmer once again, with an opportunity for an isolated snow shower.
Two separate storms will miss the borough. There will not be a blockbuster storm as the two storms will remain separate and not combine, or "phase" into a massive storm. One storm will stay to the north, another to the south. The area likely ends up in a "snow hole" where little or no snow falls Saturday morning. At this point, expect a coating at best.
Behind the storm on Sunday and Monday, highs could be in the low-40s. It would be the first time this happens in over a week with temperatures above average. Average high is 40 degrees. Another arctic blast is on the way midweek next week with similar conditions to the last few days likely next Wednesday and Thursday.
