A Williamsburg high school basketball team had a practice they won't forget thanks to an appearance by a Brooklyn Net.
Grand Street Campus was paid a visit by Nets forward Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. He brought along with him some new sneakers and other gear for the players.
But what stuck with the players most were the words of encouragement Hollis-Jefferson offered.
Hollis-Jefferson says his message for the team was to bring energy. He says he has stuck with that his whole life because it brightens people's days.
Hollis-Jefferson says paying visits to schools like Grand Street Campus is something he enjoys because he cares about the Brooklyn community.
