Heavy rain in the borough Wednesday made for messy travel conditions.
In Canarsie, storm drains appeared to be doing their job as streets were relatively clear of water.
Despite the rain, residents say their commutes weren't too bad, as long as they had an umbrella.
A flash flood advisory and warning were in effect for the borough through Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy and cool with temperatures around 65 degrees.
