A new interactive sign was installed Tuesday at Brooklyn Bridge Park, giving people another reason to visit the popular destination.
The Dumbo Reflector, commissioned by the Dumbo Improvement District, brings a new definition of public art in the 21st century.
The sign can tell people weather and traffic conditions and can even act as a Magic 8-ball, changing colors if someone tweets questions at it with the hashtag "DumboMagic."
News 12 reached out to the Dumbo Business Improvement District, which said, "We wanted to take the idea of a traditional Dumbo sign and give it the royal treatment. The Dumbo Reflector is a physical reminder of the vibrancy of this community."
