New York City native Jimmy Kimmel is returning to his hometown to host a full week's worth of his show, "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
Kimmel is temporarily taping at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The venue seats 2,000, which is about 10 times more than his Los Angeles set.
Kimmel says he's excited to work in New York, contrasting the energy of the crowd with that of his normal studio.
Scheduled guests include Bill Murray and ballet star Misty Copeland.
The last local show will be Friday.
This marks the second time that Kimmel has hosted his show out of New York.
